Day 2 was hard. I spent a lot of time in the kennels, where the majority of the Galgos is kept. Two long rows of cages filled with 4-5 dogs each.
When you start walking down the isle, the barking starts like a wave.
It sounds like a classic prison movie, where the inmates rebel inside their cages.
The main difference is that those bars are a safe space for the Galgos. And still every one of them wants out: To run in the outside patios, to lie in the morning sun.
But most of all, they want out to travel to a home of their own.
